Group EMDR Therapy
Collective Healing in a Supportive Space
ometimes healing doesn't have to happen alone. Group EMDR Therapy is a powerful way to process overwhelming experiences alongside others who truly get it—without needing to explain every detail. Whether you're navigating workplace trauma, burnout, or the emotional aftermath of a difficult experience, this group offers a safe and structured space to begin your healing journey.
Why Group EMDR? And Why Now?
When something traumatic happens—whether it’s a specific incident or a buildup of chronic stress—early support can make a significant difference. Left unaddressed, these experiences may later show up as anxiety, irritability, emotional numbing, or physical symptoms. Early intervention through group EMDR can reduce the intensity of these responses and help prevent long-term effects like PTSD or chronic burnout.
Group EMDR follows a structured, evidence-informed approach that gives participants the space to explore what’s coming up for them without having to retell painful stories. You’re guided through a process that taps into the body and brain’s natural capacity to heal, using bilateral stimulation to support emotional processing and relief.
Who This Group Is For
This virtual group is designed for high-performing professionals and caregivers who have experienced:
A recent or past traumatic event in the workplace or personal life
Vicarious trauma from helping others in crisis (common in healthcare, education, mental health, and first responders)
Burnout or compassion fatigue
Emotional distress that feels stuck and hard to shake
It’s also ideal for individuals who:
Aren’t quite ready for weekly therapy but want targeted support
Have a long-standing issue that keeps resurfacing
Feel more comfortable healing in a supportive group environment
What You’ll Need to Join
To get the most out of this experience, it’s important that participants:
Can commit to the full group schedule
Have access to a private, quiet room and a stable internet connection
Are not currently in a domestic violence situation, active substance use concerns, or dealing with complex childhood trauma
We’ll discuss all of this together during the screening process to make sure the group is the right fit. If not, we’ll explore other options or referrals that better meet your needs.
Offered Throughout the Year
These virtual groups are offered at different times throughout the year. We keep group sizes small to allow for more meaningful engagement and support. If a group isn’t currently open, you can join the waitlist or request to be notified when new dates are announced.
Healing in community can be incredibly validating. You don’t have to carry everything alone, and you don’t have to explain everything to be seen, heard, and supported. Group EMDR can be a powerful first step—or a supportive next one—on your journey toward healing.
