Hey there,

With over 20 years of experience as a social worker, I have studied trauma and its impact on our lives, relationships, and sense of self. My training as a medical social worker in a level I trauma center allowed me to witness firsthand how trauma can extend beyond the body, leaving an emotional imprint that often goes unaddressed. That experience deepened my commitment to helping people not just survive but truly heal.

As a youngster, I had my own near-death experience that I actually forgot about for a long time. This experience has made me aware of how our minds sometimes protect us from trauma, whether through memory gaps or the ways we cope after events like traumatic brain injuries. It reminds me that some things in our lives can be hard to talk about, not because we don’t want to, but because our psyche shields us in its own way. However, in safe and supportive spaces, I believe we can begin to let our truths surface.

This awareness has influenced my work as a therapist, helping me create a space where people can explore their experiences, both the painful and the resilient parts, and honor the ways they've navigated life. I believe we all have challenges, but we also have the remedies within us to heal, and I’m here to support that process.

Beyond individual therapy, I bring my expertise into broader spaces. I have worked with organizations to provide wellness workshops, been a speaker at conferences and professional events, and consulted with tech companies and other entities on trauma-informed practices. My goal in these spaces is to help create environments where people feel supported, valued, and empowered to care for their mental and emotional well-being.

In my work, I bring warmth, humility, and a deep respect for the wisdom my clients already hold. I believe that healing happens when we have the space to explore, process, and reconnect with ourselves. If you’re feeling stuck or weighed down, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Let’s find a way forward together.

I’d describe myself as warm, thoughtful, and fun—with a deep love for finding beauty in the everyday. I’m someone who enjoys laughing, savoring a good meal, and listening to music that feeds the soul. I’m a big-picture thinker and a bit of a visionary; I love dreaming about the world as it could be and using my energy to help shape that vision— rooted in joy, justice, and community.
