No, I do not accept insurance. However, I do provide all of my clients with monthly itemized medical bills (also known as Superbills). So, those wanting to be reimbursed by their Insurance Provider for out-of-network mental health benefits can submit it for review. My clients who do so, usually receive partial to full reimbursement.
I also recommend you contacting your Insurance Provider to determine if you have out-of-network mental health benefits.

In our first appointment, we’ll meet via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. This session is a chance for us to get to know each other, review your intake paperwork, talk about how we’ll work together, and go over office policies and your therapy goals. It’s okay if we don’t cover everything in one sitting—this is just the beginning, and we’ll continue building from here in our next session.
-
The number of therapy sessions you’ll need depends on your goals and how things unfold as we work together. At the start, we’ll talk about your hopes for therapy, and I don’t prescribe a set number of sessions unless you’re starting with an EMDR Intensive, which includes three time-limited sessions. If you’re interested in ongoing therapy, we’ll revisit that conversation during our final intensive session or as your needs evolve. I do require a minimum of four sessions so we can get a clear understanding of the issues you’d like to address—many clients don’t bring everything up in the first session or two, and that’s okay. We’ll check in regularly to make sure therapy is aligned with your goals, and you might be surprised by how quickly you notice progress.
-
The name can be a bit misleading. EMDR Intensives are actually a gentler, more focused way to work through complex issues that have been difficult to resolve with traditional therapy. Because sessions are longer and scheduled closer together, we can often make meaningful progress more quickly—sometimes in just one or two sessions. The pace is slower and more intentional, with breaks built in and grounding tools at the end to help you move through your day. EMDR Intensives are especially ideal for those with inconsistent schedules, since you can focus when you have time available, and for those who are highly motivated to find emotional relief from longstanding issues. EMDR has been shown to be extremely effective for those seeking embodied, lasting change. We’ll also discuss post-care options to support you after the session.
